I absolutely adored working with this sweet and beautiful bride, Kelly! I love her effortlessly delicate and ladylike style that we emphasized with soft smoldering eyes and classic bridal updo. We added a pop of petal pink on her cheeks and lips, and voila, the perfect springtime garden wedding beauty!

<pretty, fresh, springtime makeup for all her beautiful bridesmaids!>
<I love this shot above because you can see all of Linda’s lovely bridesmaid braids, twists and curls!>
Sweet Mila came to me wanting understated glamour and an elegant bridal look but most importantly, she wanted to look like herself. We kept her makeup really clean and fresh, adding a pop of color (purple!) on her eyes. We swept her dark silky hair up into a sleek chignon and sent her down the aisle to marry her prince charming. She treated her maid-of-honor to a day of beauty too! Enjoy!
My favorite thing about this image? Mila came to me for an appointment around 8:30AM on her wedding day … and here she is, cake cutting, late night and all, still looking just as flawless as when she left my chair early that morning!

Stop. First, can I please just point out this bride’s perfectly porcelain skin, gorgeous black hair and the most ladylike red lip I’ve ever seen a bride pull off? Lauren is the epitome of classic glam and grace. Not to mention these photos were taken by the ever-lovely, dream-to-work-with, wildly-talented Brandi Burkett of Brandi Burkett Photography. It all reminds me of a modern approach to Gone with the Wind, no? That unmistakeable southern charm it just too pretty. Enjoy!
I’ve known this gorgeous gal since we were much younger …. Lauren’s the little sister of one of my very best friends, the mayor’s daughter and the sweetest gem you’ll ever meet. We even grew up on the same street together, (I’ve spent more time of the Dean family back porch than I can account for!) so I was beyond thrilled when she asked me to do her wedding! (insert shameless plug here —–> I also planned her wedding too, through my sister company Life is Pretty, LLC).
Claire’s wedding details were so perfectly enchanted and charming, it is one of my favorite weddings to date.
Little white church with a steeple on the corner of Mulberry Street (in Kaufman, TX) for the ceremony, old town square bank building converted into a venue space for the reception, an antique french crown on her head, and a party that ended with dancing in the streets – clearly you can see why I love this vintage-chic wedding so much! Enjoy this adorable wedding and all the bridal beauty below!

This sweet little bride has flawless skin, gorgeous eyes and hair that just doesn’t stop … which made her old Hollywood inspired hair and makeup look for her engagement session with fiancé Mark seem effortless! Ruby red lips, a mini-cat eye and big sleek curls with a deep side part – AMAZING!
Take a look at these gorgeous photos by Sarah Kate Photography and enjoy!
You may remember Nicole, my fun-loving, adventure-seeking bride, from her fierce underwater bridal portrait session featured here a few months ago! Today she’s showing off her soft, romantic makeup and pretty updo from her gorgeous wedding ceremony at the Arboretum and reception at the Stoneleigh!
Special thanks to Amy Karp for these lovely images!
after her ceremony we ran back to the hotel suite to do a hair flip …. down, curled and elegant for the reception!
Shortly after being married, beautiful Beth was diagnosed with Leukemia … sending her and her new husband into a tailspin of emotions. A handful of us are so lucky to have met this amazing couple during their six-month anniversary photo shoot! I mean seriously, look at those gorgeous sparkling eyes!

I absolutely adore this outdoor engagement session with my bride Jasmine!
She wanted outdoor-friendly, smoldering, smokey eye makeup … so instead of the traditional black and grey used to create a smokey eye, I made it daytime-approriate by using taupe, slate grey and a hint of plum. Pair that with carefree, voluminous waves, and you get this this fashionably sassy engagement shoot by Amy Karp Photography!
Friends, meet Natalie.
She’s one of the sweetest, craziest, wildest, most loving people I’ve ever met and lucky for me, she also happens to be one of my very best friends. Pretty please take a look at these gorgeous photos, in her gorgeous fluffy-flowy gown, looking totally… you guessed it – gorgeous. Glowing skin, soft romantic eyes and pretty pink lips!
