Megan’s wedding day beauty was the epitome of classic elegance and sophisticated glamour. Beautiful skin with sculpted cheeks, nude eyes with a black winged liner, defined brows and a perfect matte berry pout (in my favorite lipstick of all time, MAC Perpetual Flame). A low, polished updo with a deep side part finished off her timeless look.

I’ve been dying to do this post! Lauren took her bridal portraits earlier this spring before she hopped on a plane with her fiancé, both their families in tow, and headed for their destination nuptials on Italy’s Amalfi Coast. Jealous? Yeah, me too. But I’m so grateful I was able to do her hair and makeup for her romantic, Tuscan-inspired portrait session at the Canals of Las Colinas with Brandi Burkett Photography. Aside from how gorgeous she is – how freaking amazing is her couture wedding gown by Deborah Powell of White Gown Workroom? Swoon. Cheers to you, sweet Lauren!

If you’ve had a wedding with Beauty & the Blush this past year, you’ve met her and your bridesmaids likely got their updos from her! A few weeks ago, Linda got her own Beauty & the Blush hair and makeup treatment as she celebrated her one year anniversary with her sweet hubby Adam with this adorable outdoor photoshoot. These images are some of my favorites (by the ever lovely and so talented Tucker Images). She’s an all-natural gal, so we kept her makeup simple, just highlighting her eyes, cheeks and brows and big, easy-going waves in her hair.

25 AprHappy Friday! Everyone, meet Taylor, one of my fall/winter 2013 brides who was as sweet, wonderful and lovely as she was gorgeous. She has the sparkliest eyes I’ve ever seen (so obviously we totally played those up!) and the thickest hair of all time. Ever. (I think I’ve said that before, but Taylor totally wins the prize). She wanted classic, wedding glamour so I used a smoldering grey palette on the eyes, with a neat, sharp winged liner and matte skin with big curls and the perfect little floral topper.
