There are so times I think to myself while working, “Seriously, how did I get this lucky? The day I drove to Cut & Shoot, Texas (yes, an actual town, population 1,098) for an over-the-top yet totally natural and organically gorgeous editorial photo shoot with Lauren Peele Photography, The Southern Table and Without Wax Katy, and Paige the Elephant.

Yes, a real, live, gentle giant elephant named Paige, weighing in at 8500 pounds and 9 feet tall. I’m even more thrilled to announce that this styled shoot was picked up for PRINT by Utterly Engaged Magazine Volume 2, which launches TODAY! WIth a nude eye, crimson lip, soft skin a runway-inspired, twisted low-ponytail, our model delivered the look with perfection. I’ve been dying to share these images and now I finally can! Hopefully you enjoy every magical moment as much as I did!

So, I am super late on blogging this gorgeous, brunette beauty …. but better late than never! Jennifer’s wedding day look included a palette of soft beigey-nude-browns and pretty pinks. Ashley’s simply chic wedding style :: makeup & hair

Ashley is the kind of girl that you look at and think to yourself… “She’s so cool. I wanna be friends with her.” She’s effortlessly chic, down to earth, a little boho, and just about as naturally pretty as it gets. (the kind of girl who can swipe on a little mascara and look drop dead gorgeous, sigh.) And, when she agreed to let me use a more-orange-than-coral lipstick on her for her Big Day, well … that just took it to a whole different level. I should mention that since her wedding, I’ve become totally obsessed (hehe!) with Obsessive Compulsive Lip Tar). I should also mention that while Ashley’s updo was one of my favorite hairstyles I’ve done to date (golden/diamond hair accessory from White Gown Showroom), she also had a mid-reception gown change and hairstyle flip! Her glamorous waves were perfectly topped off with an chic, oversized flower comb!
