Glamorous Bridal Hair & Makeup :: Courtney’s Wedding at Event 1013

Someone! Cue the confetti, because this lovely girl just sparkles! Courtney’s gorgeous forest-fairy bridals at Grapevine Springs Park and her adorable (totally custom-EVERything) wedding at Event 1013 will make you swoon. Seriously, Courtney & Quinn …. cutest couple award, right here!

I typically am a little skeptical of styling bride’s hair totally down for their wedding day … so many factors are in play to ensure it holds the style. But Courtney’s sleek, romantic, Hollywood-inspired curls are just to die for… and they we just as beautiful at 10am as they were for her exit at midnight! Along with her curls, a soft smokey eye and pretty lashes were on Courtney’s must-have list.

Lucky in Love {St. Patrick’s Day Shoot} Hair & Makeup

Dramatic Wedding Makeup {Vanessa}

Meet Vanessa, my super sweet, ultra cool, totally gorgeous bride that knew how to rock a dramatic look.

Intense slate grey, black and shimmery smokey eyes, fierce lashes, a full brow and a perfectly hot-pink-berry-red pout to match that out-of-this-world red hair of hers. I LOVE this look … and this sweet bride! Her wedding party was just as sweet, and totally excited about their beautiful bridesmaid looks.

{Candice} gorgeous glam wedding makeup

Say hello to my beautiful bride, Candice! For her big day  bridal style, Candice wanted flawless, glowing skin, smoldering eyes and pale pink-nude lips, a look inspired by Charlize Theron.

To give her the depth she wanted without going total smokey-eye, I used a soft taupe eyeshadow as the base and layered a sparkling mocha with hints of mauve and raspberry in the crease and corner. Tight black liner and super fierce lashes made her crystal blue eyes look even more intense! A perfectly pink pout was the finishing touch for her glamorous bridal look (she looks like a Barbie, no?)

Lynne’s stunning Houston wedding : dramatic makeup & glamorous updo

Meet Lynne, my sweet Houston bride that’s got a heart of gold and the bone structure of a mythical goddess. I mean, seriously, this Southern belle turned pageant queen could have walked down the aisle sans-makeup and hair a muck and she still would have glowed… but lucky for me, I had the awesome opportunity to spend the day with her in Houston for her big “I Do” to her sweet hubby Cale.

Lynne’s pretty olive skin and dark hair called for smoldering bronzy-brown eyes, an apricot cheek and sun kissed lips. We topped off her classic glam look with a delicate, slightly tousled pompadour undo.

Thanksgiving may be over, but today I am totally giving thanks for these beauties … and the awesome wedding pros behind this sweet shoot! Photoshoot {Phantom of the Opera}

I am LOVING these seriously haute images I just received from a photo shoot I did makeup and hair for last week! Inspired by the classic, Phantom of the Opera and shot at the historic Majestic Theater in downtown Dallas.

Our beautiful model (and actual bride-to-be) took on the leading role with soft matte eyes in a neutral peach, glam false lashes loaded with mascara, fierce eyebrows and a vampy, plum-red lipstick that stole the show!
