So much to love about Caitlin’s look for her and Brandon’s outdoor engagement shoot by magical, film photographer extraordinaire, Taylor Lord Photography. We did a soft, matte smokey eye on this beautiful bride-to-be and a peachy cheek with big, loose waves and a little volume to create her effortlessly chic outdoor engagement session look.
I am loving these gorgeous engagement photos taken a few weeks ago by the ever-talented and lovely Havi Frost Photography. Thania & Miguel wanted a duel-setting shoot; something sweet and romantic and something urban and city-scape inspired. So Jen Rios Design went to work (with gorgeous floral by Wedfully Yours) in setting up two scenes at the White Rock Lake and downtown Dallas at the Meyerson Symphony Center.
Thani – whose chiseled cheekbones I raved over on Facebook and Instagram that day – (I’m convinced) were put on this earth just for my sculpting enjoyment – wanted flawless skin, dramatic eyes and structured, but not-too-perfect curls for their shoot. Enjoy!

She wanted outdoor-friendly, smoldering, smokey eye makeup … so instead of the traditional black and grey used to create a smokey eye, I made it daytime-approriate by using taupe, slate grey and a hint of plum. Pair that with carefree, voluminous waves, and you get this this fashionably sassy engagement shoot by Amy Karp Photography!
