Polished. Sophisticated. Dripping with modern glamour. I absolutely loved spending wedding day with Lindsey!
I absolutely adored working with this sweet and beautiful bride, Kelly! I love her effortlessly delicate and ladylike style that we emphasized with soft smoldering eyes and classic bridal updo. We added a pop of petal pink on her cheeks and lips, and voila, the perfect springtime garden wedding beauty!
<pretty, fresh, springtime makeup for all her beautiful bridesmaids!>
Megan’s wedding day beauty was the epitome of classic elegance and sophisticated glamour. Beautiful skin with sculpted cheeks, nude eyes with a black winged liner, defined brows and a perfect matte berry pout (in my favorite lipstick of all time, MAC Perpetual Flame). A low, polished updo with a deep side part finished off her timeless look.
Audrey is one of those classic, effortlessly gorgeous girls who is equally as sweet, lovely and completely genuine… pretty much making her the perfect bride and client. And because she is just so very stunning, please enjoy this major overload of her wedding day gorgeousness! Hair & makeup for this entire group by Beauty & the Blush!

I came back mid-way through Audrey’s reception to give her a party-perfect update to her look: we changed her updp to a beautiful side swept ponytail and added a bright pop of coral-pink on her lips!
I love Susan’s classic, graceful beauty and was so pleased to have been able to do her makeup for her bridal portraits as well as her hair and makeup for her rehearsal dinner! Unfortunately I wasn’t available on her wedding day (major sad face inserted here) but am so thrilled to have just gotten my hands on all theses beautiful images by the dreamy, magnificent Thisbe Grace Photography.
Rehearsal dinner beauty // shimmery metallics for a fun look with her sparkly dress and a voluminous, detailed but modern updo since we knew she would be wearing it down for her wedding / Arlington Hall at Lee Park / Rachel Derman Events
My friend Sarah is one of those girls that you’re just instantly attracted to. She’s a blonde-hair (platinum these days), blue-eyed, fair-skinned beauty with gorgeous features, legs for days, and a bohemian-chic, free-spirted style all her own (note, her whimsical-chic BHLDN gown). Not to mention her delicate but distinctive European bone structure that I just adore.
So when she told me her vision for her engagement shoot with the vastly talented Margot Landen Photography, I was over the moon! I knew her style would translate into images that were anything but your average, posed engagement shoot.
Wild hair with tight waves and straight ends with tons of carefree volume. Illuminated skin that glistens in the sun. A soft but but striking glow in a warm palette of pink, peach, gold and champagne. Naked, effortless, no-makeup-makeup. Enjoy these stunning, sun-drenched, roaming-the-wilderness images of Sarah & Thomas!
Let’s mix things up and get crazy with a non-weding post this morning! I am SO super excited to have recently taken a job as the official makeup artist for Milk & Honey Boutique in Dallas!
Want to see what we’ve been up to lately? We recently teamed up for a fun spring/summer fashion shoot to show off the cute threads on the M/H racks with the sassy, trendy, super-chic girls of Lolly, Shannon Yoachum (who is also a MH team member) and Lauren Scruggs. Enjoy these rad images by the talented Sukilynn Photography! See more of their looks on the Milk & Honey Boutique website!
I called Lauren my “princess bride.” One glance at these jaw-dropping photos and you’ll see why.
She’s absolutely stunning! Long blonde locks, curled, pouffed and pinned to perfection, gorgeous skin and beautifully sparkling eyes. Enjoy all of these gorgeous, story-book-perfect images by Tyler Tyndell Photography.
Happy Friday! Everyone, meet Taylor, one of my fall/winter 2013 brides who was as sweet, wonderful and lovely as she was gorgeous. She has the sparkliest eyes I’ve ever seen (so obviously we totally played those up!) and the thickest hair of all time. Ever. (I think I’ve said that before, but Taylor totally wins the prize). She wanted classic, wedding glamour so I used a smoldering grey palette on the eyes, with a neat, sharp winged liner and matte skin with big curls and the perfect little floral topper. Enjoy these beautiful images by Charla Storey Photography from their wedding at Swingin’ D Ranch!
<the grand exit – still looking picture-perfect, confetti and all!!>
Sweet Mila came to me wanting understated glamour and an elegant bridal look but most importantly, she wanted to look like herself. We kept her makeup really clean and fresh, adding a pop of color (purple!) on her eyes. We swept her dark silky hair up into a sleek chignon and sent her down the aisle to marry her prince charming. She treated her maid-of-honor to a day of beauty too! Enjoy!
My favorite thing about this image? Mila came to me for an appointment around 8:30AM on her wedding day … and here she is, cake cutting, late night and all, still looking just as flawless as when she left my chair early that morning!
